We celebrated the spring equinox by taking a walk. My poor vitamin D deficient children thought it was too bright outside...
As you can see, we still needed mittens and hats and still have a little pesky snow remaining, but hopefully it all will be gone soon.
There are not yet any buds on the trees...

and signs of last autumn are still frozen into the lake...

BUT, we saw the first heralds of spring: Green grass poking through the snow...

and robins doing the robin tango (no, you don't get to see the NC-17 version I accidentally captured)

Beautiful pictures. I can't believe how big those kids are getting!
So nice to get outside and enjoy nature... and SUN! Yay for vitamin D!
P.S. I wish your kids would come over and play... Liam needs more friends. (and so does his mom)

It's 85 here today. I wish it was more Spring-like.
